Our recent tour experience with them in April 2023 left us with a bitter aftertaste. Despite being promised a comfortable bus for our group, we were given a shabby and filthy bus that was infested with rats. When we requested a change of bus, we were told that we had to pay extra for a bigger bus, even though we did not ask to upsize the bus. Throughout the tour, we encountered multiple issues with the bus, including air conditioning breakdowns, bad suspension resulting in bumpy rides, and tire punctures.
The tour agent, Hemant Mishra, (founder of Ekgram Yatra) was unprofessional and dishonest. He promised to sort out the issue with the bus company but failed to do so. On the last day of our tour, he demanded that we pay an extra INR 17,000 for the bus, which we had already refused to pay. Even though we had paid all other dues, the bus company held us to ransom and threatened to leave us stranded at a petrol station if we did not pay the extra amount. We were left with no choice but to pay in order to make it to the airport in time for our flights.
This kind of cheating and dishonesty is unacceptable, and we urge others to avoid Ekgram Yatra and Ganesh Tours for their Gujarat tours. Don't be misled by their promises - they are not trustworthy and will ruin your tour experience.
