I ordered an upgrade (Contactless home delivery) of my existing prepaid SIM (+91-7412020639) to postpaid by seeing a limited period offer on plan 399/month (highlighted screenshot attached) on August 13, 2020.



Vodafone care executive delivered the SIM to my home and charged 300 INR as a security deposit. SIM which I received was faulty and not receiving any signal, I cross-checked with the Vodafone delivery executive explaining to him; I am not getting any signals even after receiving the activation message from Vodafone care on my alternate mobile number. He kept explaining to me; It will start after 2-3 Hrs. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The next day, it forced me to travel to the nearest Vodafone care outlet by risking my family safe in this COVID-19 situation to exchange my SIM because I am using mobile data from this SIM for my work from home.



As I use this SIM mobile data for my work from home. I contacted customer care several times for the additional 150 GB data & have not received an appropriate response from them. I upgraded my prepaid SIM to postpaid connection only because of this offer. Now I want to surrender/deactivate my SIM as I am fed of this behavior by Vodafone, I have been told that Vodafone store executive that I cannot deactivate it for another 3 months, because of this now I am stuck to use this SIM. So I request you to kindly look into this matter and provide me 150GB data for 6 months as stated on the website and Vodafone app.
