Extension of Gym Membership months lost in Lockdown

I have a yearly membership with El Gymnasio which was valid upto 17th June 2020. Due to the lockdown imposed, all Gyms were closed across India from 25th March 2020. The Gyms have reopened from 25th Oct 2020 after State Govt permission and all Gyms across the city are offering an extension to the membership for the number of months lost due to lockdown.
Ms Neha (receptionist) and Mr Sachin Kavankar (floor Manager) refuse to provide an extension saying this is their gym rule.
On what basis are they making their own rules? I am entitled to 3 month extension on my membership. They asked me to renew my membership for Rs 11000 for a year to also avail the additional 3 months lost. Why should i be forced to renew ?
Please take immediate action against the gym. I do not wish to renew my membership but I just want my 3 months extension
