1. This is in connection the notice I received by email on a weekly off on May 2, 2015 by Unitedworld School of Business (UWSB) terminating the validity of my service contract as Professor without prior intimation or discussion; disregarding all rules of propriety and ethical norms.
• I have waited for over nine months since my request sent on the same day seeking settlement of monetary dues against notice period including compensation. There has been no response from UWSB till date. Rs 77,000/- salary per month X 5 months from May 2, 2015 till 27, September 2015. (Rs 4.80 lacs). I was give an increment after the expiry of one year contract implying extension of the contract period. Since it was a valid the employer terminated its validity on May 2, 2015.
• 15 days leave with pay entitled to each teaching staff in May 2015 during summer vacation was also unpaid.
• Harassment compensation for me and my family (Rs 77,000/-).
2. I had joined them as per the Contract for Retainership with UWSB dated September 27, 2013 wherein the renewal clause mentions validity on yearly basis. After 15 months of joining I got an increment too. Hence it is assumed (as per law) that the annual contract was in continuity. Secondly, the terms referred to in Clause 10 mentions about 'employment' terms including leave rules, full time work schedule etc. mentioned in clause 7& 8. My employee no. was 03245 and I was doing the same duties as a full-time teaching staff or employee was doing. But I was denied PF benefits which were extended to others. I had the same responsibilities and followed the same leave rules and working hours as others.
3. My dues therefore are
• Balance Salary contract period 2/05/ 2015 up to 26/09/ 2015 Rs 4.80 lacs
• Add leave unavailed during summer break for 15 days plus annual leave EL of 15 days (30 days @Rs 77000/- Rs 0.77 lac
• Add Harassment compensation Rs 1.50 lacs
• Add PF benefits Rs 3.00 lacs
