Complaint regrading TIKONA internet provider forcing and humiliating for payment

Hi Consumer Forum,

I am using TIKONA service and my user ID is – 1112511860.

Due to bad health I missed to pay 2-3 month bill as I was at my native were internet connection is also very poor .When I came back Pune I tried to check my TIKONA account for paying my dues but can’t able to login my , let me also bring your notice that I tried to call TIKONA customer service to understand reason but got frustrated after 15 min as it was very long Queue.

So it’s simple when I don’t know how much to pay I can’t make any payment it was not intentional , I was expecting that I will get any sms or email but nothing I received for pending TIKONA bills.

One day I got call from Advocate “Neha Sharma: (mobile no. 9582054948) on 12th July ... she was asking me to pay some ( not really sure about amount) amount in next 30 min of time…... I requested her please provide me TIKONA pending Bills so that I will can understand how much I need be paid to TIKONA, as I was unaware of my bills .At that point in time she told –“we are filing your case at Delhi as a criminal offense and you have to visit Delhi for your hearings” . But as the amount is less she forced me to pay immediately in next 30 min. She was almost shouting on phone and humiliating me by saying – “I am government employee and you have to do as I say, else come to Delhi for your case”

I request again why don’t you share my bills and I also said if were willing for payment you should give call at morning or email me you can’t force me . She were screaming on me and said now come “Delhi court” and again humiliated me. I was requesting for bills but she was forcing me and screaming on phone, then I cut the call.

Still after this incident I have not received any sms or phone to make payment and my pending amount, I am ready to make payment but I was helpless.

Again I have received call from Advocate Neha Sharma (mobile 9891003098) yesterday (i.e. 09th Oct 2016) and this time she told me collect legal notice – (i.e. Legal Notice Serial No. DLCVLC----20038VTAS2092016) from Deccan Police Station Pune, she also said she work under Mr Gujral Delhi at Sahara Chamber 1.

But when I asked her for bills she said Mister don’t try to argue with Government employee , As I am not your servant …I want you to make TIKONA payment and don’t know about bills as I only know about TIKONA compliant.

And she forced me to make this payment in next 30 min else we can’t save your case and you have to come Delhi .I told share the bills again and again but no response , and to get rid of this call I made payment. Because who want to get humiliated on phone again and again but this is wrong as I don’t know Bill to be paid.

Please find attached my payment transaction , I am still unaware of my bills I just made payment what Advocate Neha has asked me…She said me to make payment of 2200 ….And in this bill they have to deduct #RS“500” #
Which company have asked me to pay for installation charge which is refundable at deactivation.

My Suggestion:

I request in this context please make a habit of gentle reminder to the customer via sms or email , never scream , shout or humiliate customers on Phone, never force any one to pay if he is unaware of his bills help them by sending them.

Finally TIKONA as reputed company should stop giving this kind of treatment to people , as this is not correct way to humiliate and force people to pay any amount , and please provide my bills also deduct “500” rupee which you have taken from me at time installation .

Note :Please deactivate/remove my name from your list and next time I don’t want to receive call from TIKONA recovery department neither I will recommend TIKONA connection to my any friends .

Last again please share my bills and do deducted the activation charge.

#Consumer Forum# – I request you to please take necessary action so that this kind of treatment should get stopped by TIKONA service provider, also in this case the good payee CIBIL get impacted and this disrespectful behavior needs serious attention .Please let me know for any other details required .

    As Full & Final Settlement has been concluded no dues are pending for your account.
    You are liable to pay Rs 1,500/- as penalty for breach of the terms of services since you failed to surrender the modem even after sending several intimation from our end.

    Hi ,
    As I said on phone multiple times please provide me apology email as you guys have misbehaved on phone .....and
    forced me to pay and an amount for which I was not having bills ...this is not correct way to treat customers ..

    Also I have received email for collection of device on 22nd of Nov 2016 which does not have any date till which I have to call Tikons guys to handover device.

    Also that device is not at all useful in any sense to me....and as I said clearly on call you can take it any time weekend ....dont kill my time ...I asked you guys to send apology email for bad behaviour which till time you have not send .....you guys have said in email in which you have said "We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you"...please do specify what inconvenience?? you have not specified that...



    @ Jago Grahak Jago team .....These guys have not at all feeling bad about the way they spoke to me ....and still they want me to pay fine about which they have send email just on 22nd via email but till what date device should be handover was missing... .as I said that device is not at all use full in any sense...but these guys are still trying to make out money by harrarsing....please provide justice....my worst decision that I took this connection .

    Hi TIKONA,

    I have handover my device already and send scanned copy of receipt .

    Please stop all kind of communication with me from now onwards as I am done with all your formalities .Close my account (i.e. 1112511860) and donot call me ,email me as I am irritated already.
