Respected Sir/Madam,
This is for your kind attention that this shop named as “Grand Sweets & Bakery” Located at Urban Estate, Phase-1, Jalandhar (Pb.) has cheated and made bulling. Whole incident is as under :
That I had visited the above mentioned shop as on 07-01-2017 evening, in regard to order for a cake because on very next day it was birthday of my dear son & we have arranged a birthday party at 2 pm. After having suggestions & rates from the attendant I ordered a Pineapple cake of 1 kg. As he gave me rate for pineapple cake @ Rs.380/- per kg. Cashier received the whole money as advance & committed to make a cake for me for next day & the time committed by him was 12.30.
As per schedule I visited the shop on 08-01-2017 at 1.30 pm approx. to get my 1kg pineapple cake. Attendant boy taken out a cake to deliver to me. As I looked upon the cake, it was looking smaller as I generally purchase from some other shop. So I asked about the weight of the cake, attendant boy told me that it is 1kg cake, but because I was not convinced from it’s size so I requested to weight it again for my satisfaction. I felt a little hesitation on that guy’s face but on my request he put the cake of weighing machine. I was surprised to see the weight of cake was only 800gms. That means it was 20% lesser than the cake for which I had paid. For that I talked to the person at main counter, he answered me that this is a little weight difference and you have to bear it. It was very much bulling to me, that why should I have to beer this weight difference. I argued for the same & asked to call up the owner of shop, on my demand that person gave me owner’s mobile no as 9876801010, I tried it twice but he didn’t picked my phone. Just in between this episode I came to know that owner is sitting in his office at same floor & even looking at us from his office but didn’t came out to resolve the problem. More than this even I approached to him in his office & tried to talk to him about this bulling going on in his shop with a consumer but he shouted at me & said to me go outside. It was my bad luck that I was with no spare time to spend over there as my party time was closer & my guests were expected to come in time to the fixed venue. I again urged the person on cash counter to refund my money of 200 gms cake which they have not delivered but after having a telephonic talk though intercome with his owner he refused to refund any money.
So with great frustration & helplessness I left the premises with same underweight cake. Now you are hereby requested to please have a necessary & appropriate action against this shopkeeper, so he may never repeat that kind of cheating & bulling to someone else.
