Dear sir/madam,
My name is ramachandra rao, I have booked six bus tickets for my family from Vadodara to Mumbai through redbus.in in neeta travels bus.
According to timings displayed in redubus.in the bus should start at 11pm on 26th jun -2017 at Vadodara and it should reach Mumbai by 6am 27th jun-2017.
I had also booked six flight tickets from Mumbai to vishakapatnam on 27th jun-2017 , at 10:10am.
My plan is that the bus will reach 6am to Mumbai hence they have sufficient time to reach Mumbai airport as the bus is also dropping my family at andheri.
The neeta travels bus brokedown at one of place near vapi on 27th jun-2017 early morning 2:30am. There is no alteranate bus provided immediately hence after lot of panict they could able to get one cab at 5:30am from vapi.
Even after taking cab,my family could not able to reach Mumbai airport so i cancelled those six flight tickets from Mumbai to vishakapatnam.
The cancellation charges worth 13500/- was loss to me and also i had booked tickets flight tickets again from Mumbai to Hyderabad and there after they travelled by bus to vishakapatnam.
The break down of the bus and wrong information display from redbus.in caused following expanses to me
Flight cancellation charges-13500/-
Taxi from vapi to Mumbai airport-4000/-
new flight tickets cost from Mumbai -Hyderabad and Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam
i have approached redbus.in for the compensation, they could manage to refund my bus tickets cost from neeta travels but they denied for the above quoted compensation(17500/-).
The cost which I have incurred is not recovered and the anguish which my family undergone with two children cannot be explained.
literally myself and my family were crying on that day.
Hence i request you to push redubus.in management for releasing this compensation to me.
