I had purchased the TP Link Tapo C100 baby camera on Oct 2021.
The product had come with a 1 year warranty.
The product worked fine for 2 years, but recently the product stopped working, so I approached the customer care of the company to get the product repaired.
The customer care said to me that the product comes with 1 year warranty only and that the company does not repair the product.
As an Indian consumer we expect the life of an expensive baby camera to be at least 5 years, so if the product has a one year warranty, the company should at least provide spare parts and be able to repair the product on a chargeable basis.
The company is doing business in India and should also have service centers across all major Indian cities to facilitate the Indian consumer.
Here the company is defrauding the Indian consumer by selling a cheap product for a premium price and not also providing any service or support after its warranty period.
