I had dinner with my friend at Shirodkars Authentic Multi Cuisine Restaurant & Bar. When we asked for bill, a hand written note/ bill with no registration/ tax/ GST no. was provided to us. On questioning the bill handed over to us the owner and waiter told us that they don't provide bill to anybody. However, we agreed to pay the bill amount of Rs. 855 through credit/ debit card. The waiter told us that the card machine is not working and so payment has to be made in cash. We did not have enough cash and so we requested the owner to accompany us to the nearest ATM for realising the payment. The owner got furious and told that we need to get the money to him and threatened us saying that if we don't get the money we will not be allowed to leave the place. He clicked my photo and on questioning his clicking of photograph he started misbehaving. We did not want to get into further altercation and my friend went on to get cash from ATM during which time i was at the restaurant. I asked them for a legitimate bill again and they told me again that they don't have original bill and nobody is give a bill in that restaurant. However, the owner realised that i may complain against the restaurant on this issue and so he spoke to the waiters and a lady manning the cash counter that he will see us and many like us had become his victim, in a manner that i could overhear him. He even went on to say that if needed he would go onto tell the police that we molested the lady manning the cash counter and that he would see to it that our career is ruined.
