Attached herewith is the letter that I have already submitted with the Kalyanpur Police Station. I respectfully submit herein that the incident in question occured on the 10th of October 2020, and that there has been no action on the part of the Police. I live alone in my house and the actions of Mr. Ankit Srivastava (s/o Mr. Umapati Srivastava, r/o Kalyanpur, Kanpur) have completely terrorised me and the police have been responding to neither my, nor my child's calls for help. The concerned Sub Inspector who was on duty on the day of occurence has gone on leave, and the Inspector (Mr. Ajay Kumar Seth) has displayed extreme non chalance and laxity as far as the registration of First Information Report is concerned. Moreover, when I or my children attempt to either register, or acquire a status update on the registration of our First Information Report, Inspector Ajay Kumar Seth has constantly adopted an attitude of indifference brushing us aside callously. We have time and again been rebuked by him as if we are third grade citizens who deserve neither justice, nor a semblance of safety. As of the time of writing this letter, it has been almost 48 hours since the incident in question has occured.
I therefore pray to you to kindly take cognizance of the matter and issue directions that you may deem fit to set the law in motion.
