I would like to describe incident happened today i.e. 27.07.2019 at 8.00 Pm.
I visited today at Vishal Megamart, Uttarpara, Hooghly, during shopping at 3rd floor in the dinning table cloth section , my kids picked up one of the small kid chairs made of iron lying besides the dinning cloth section, and my kids was playing with the chair no salesman was present there to describe/take care of the items. when we move to the doormat section, there was some salesman were standing there and talking and seeing my kid playing with the chair , they suddenly called another salesman (most probably who was the actual sales person of the kids chair section as well), the called salesman came and took the chair from my kid and went to keeping with rest of the chairs. After some time he came and asked me to pay the cost of the chair through paying bill. I told him that i could not see whether chair was in good condition before picking up by my kid and refused to pay the cost of broken kid chair. He then called Manager, who was unnecessarily argued with me in rude manner and talking impolitely with another customer who tried to resolve the matter. The manager also told me to not visit in this store.
I am very much disappointed with the behavior of the Vishal Mega Mart, Uttarpara staff/manager/salesman and such mis-management which blames to customer for already damaged items to pay the bill and mis-management.
I was never thought such incident may happen in the such renowned megamart Mall.
I will never visit in this store.
