My family and I were subjected to a fraudulent scheme orchestrated by Shubhmangaljodi.com. and I believe it is crucial to bring this to your attention to prevent others from falling victim to their deceitful practices.
A few days back, we received a call from a representative of Shubhmangaljodi.com, inquiring if we were seeking marriage proposals. During the call, they collected detailed information about our requirements for a potential match. Shortly after, they sent us a profile that seemed to match our criteria perfectly, so we expressed our interest to avail of their service. (Probably, they created a fake profile based on the information they had gathered.)
At this point, we were asked to make a payment of Rs. 3500 via Google Pay for registration. Trusting their service, we made the payment. Following this, we received another call from them stating that there are two types of registrations, and our offline registration required an additional payment of Rs. 1500.
When we refused and confronted them, accusing them of scamming, they attempted to pacify us by promising to share some profiles. However, the profiles shared were clearly fake and not aligned with the expectations set initially. (We verified contact details of few on TrueCaller and they were tagged as MySdi.com)
It is evident that Shubhmangaljodi.com is operating a fraudulent scheme to exploit individuals seeking matrimonial alliances. I urge people to be aware of this website to prevent further victimization of innocent people.
