Complaint Against / To : Zomato

This is with regard to the order id 1626043679 placed on Zomato.

I had ordered a Veg Biryani dish from Yo Handi Delhi which was showing under the vegetarian category (with the green mark for veg). I was expecting a vegetarian dish however to my surprise I was delivered with a non-vegetarian biryani.

I was served with a non-vegetarian dish and unknown to its true nature; I was made to eat it. I being a pure vegetarian this was totally unacceptable, and the action from Zomato services has displayed disrespectfulness towards my religious beliefs and eating habits causing mental harassment I still cannot get over with. In addition to this, I was made to starve on my lunch meal when I am working early morning till late.

Upon contacting the restaurant, I was informed that all the dishes served by them are non-vegetarian and the details pertaining to serving of vegetarian meals on zomato site is incorrect and added that the issue falls at zomato end.
Thereafter seeking support from zomato chat over the app and to zomato customer care executive, the issue was explained to them and zomato updated the meals category to the correct one i.e. non-veg.

Thereafter, I raised this issue immediately at [email protected] which was suggested by zomato customer care executive to escalate my issue on 5th July 2019. Upon receiving no response, on 8th July I dropped a reminder mail for the same. I still did not get any response from their side apologizing on the matter.

I contacted customer care repetitively today (09.07.2019) and there is still no sense of sorry or remedy to this situation, and they still want me to continue ordering from them. This is total mental stress.
